Sunday. Time to head back to the city. It’s been a lovely weekend in the woods, but I’m ready to get back to concrete and high rises. It’s about a three hour drive home, so we woke up and had some coffee by the campfire to let the day start slowly and then hit the road.
I have some friends who live in Poughkeepsie whom I haven’t seen in awhile, so when we saw the Poughkeepsie exit we tried to reach them. No luck, but we stopped and had lunch along the lovely Hudson.
