June 6, 2026 – The Mastercard New York Mini 10k – Central Park

New York City is always on the move — and this morning, we got a front-row seat to prove it.

Heading into Central Park, we stumbled into the Mastercard New York Mini 10K, and what a thing to stumble into. This is the world’s first women-only road race, founded in 1972 and named — delightfully — after the miniskirt, that icon of women’s liberation. This year marked the 54th running of the event, and it made history: 10,084 women crossed the finish line, the first time the race has ever surpassed 10,000 finishers.

Ten thousand women. Running through Central Park. On a Saturday morning. If that doesn’t make you love this city, I don’t know what will.
